What makes a perfume last longer?

Extrait de parfum uses a higher fragrance-oil concentration than many eau de parfums and eau de toilettes, but concentration alone cannot predict an exact number of hours. Formula, skin moisture, temperature, clothing, and nose fatigue all affect what you notice during the day.

How to get a clearer wear test

  1. Apply the same number of sprays to clean, moisturized skin.
  2. Do not rub your wrists together.
  3. Check the scent at 15 minutes, 1 hour, 3 hours, 6 hours, and 8 hours.
  4. Record projection separately from how long the scent remains detectable on skin.
